Shipping policy

All our products are sent using Hermes or Royal Mail, Please note that some parts of Scotland and Ireland may incur extra postage cost. ( As some postcodes aren't covered) by our free postage. If you would like to contact us first to check if your not sure, please message us. 

We may use other couriers to send our larger products.

As most of our products are bespoke or personalised, they are not refundable if your have simply changed your mind.

However, if the product is generic and not personalised to your individual requirements and you have changed your mind about keeping it, please get in touch with us within 14 days of purchase.  Goods must be in their original condition with proof of purchase.

Original condition means the goods are unused in “as new” condition and you’ve kept all original packaging and labels in good condition.

NB Postage costs: Please note in this instance, return postage costs will be the responsibility of the customer.

However, if the goods are faulty, mis described or not fit for purpose please contact us immediately and we will generally refund the item, including the return postage costs, or exchange the item after having had the opportunity to examine the goods when we receive them back .

 Your statutory rights under The Consumer Rights act 2015 and The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 are not restricted by the policy above.

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a 14 days of receiving item back.


Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us.


Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

Shipping
To return your product, you should mail your product to: Barn Living Gifts  ,2 Meadow Cottage, Avonwick, South Brent, Devon TQ10 9NS, United Kingdom

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over £75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

 

The customer will be responsible for paying the return postage if cancelling using  rights under The Consumer Contracts ( Information, cancellation and additional charges) Regulations 2013. NB as stated above this does not apply to personalised goods. However if the goods are faulty or not fit for purpose , we , Barn Living Gifts, are responsible for the return postage/carriage.  This is in accordance with consumer rights under The Consumer Rights Act 2015 .
