BonFeu BonBowl is made of high-quality 3 mm thick Corten steel. Corten is a metal alloy that consists of iron with the addition of copper, phosphorus, silicon, nickel and chromium, and is resistant to weather conditions. A rusty, very dense oxide coating protects the deeper layers of the material from oxygen, which significantly slows down the oxidation process, although in places where water accumulates in recesses, corrosion can progress.
