Condensation in a rooftop tent is caused by the temperature difference between the outside and inside of the tent. As the temperature outside the tent drops, the warm, moist air we exhale changes from vapor to liquid, which then condenses on the fabric.

Condensation can't be completely prevented. It's a natural process that can become bothersome. To increase your comfort, simply equip your rooftop tent with an anti-condensation mat. Place it under your mattress, and condensation will no longer be a problem. The mat also adds another layer of insulation.
