But what is ‘DEET FREE’ I hear you ask!

A large number of synthetic insect repellents contain a harmful chemical called DEET. Scientifically, DEET is known as ‘N,N-Diethyl-Meta-Toluamide’ and is the active ingredient in many repellent products. It is widely used to repel insect like mosquitoes and or ticks. Rather than killing these bugs, DEET works by masking our natural scent, making it hard for them to smell us. However, DEET has been marked as "slightly toxic" by the Environmental Protection Agency, based on its potential harm to your brain and organs when absorbed in specified amounts.

We decided that we go for the natural option and used a 100% natural alternative, the insect repelling, citronella oil!
