A DWR coating and taped seams enhance protection against rain. Underarm vents allow you to regulate body temperature. This model has a snow skirt, so you can take this jacket with you on ski touring trips. An additional advantage of this product is its numerous pockets, including a "dry pocket" where you can safely store items like your phone.
