Superfruit's bee pollen comes from bee-keepings in Northern Europe ensuring the highest quality. Compared with bee pollen from Spain, the North European pollen has a milder flavour. The collected bee pollen is dried at a low temperature, graded and checked before it is packed. You can eat bee pollen the way it is or mix it with smoothies, muesli/granola and yoghurt to be used in raw food recipes. Some people also mix bee pollen into a tablespoon of honey to improve the flavour of the bee pollen. The bee pollen can also be dissolved in water or a cup of tea. Avoid use if you are allergic to pollen or other bee products such as honey. Placing a single granule or a small dosage on your tongue can do testing for allergy. If you are allergic you will quite immediately get signs of a runny nose, itching in eyes, nose or throat. We recommend that you start with 0,5-1 tsp and then gradually increase up to 0,5-1 tbsp. Most people find it enough to use 1 tbsp per day.
