The 1604/2PLUS attachment allows the use of the 1604.1/2PLUS measuring device, which allows you to quickly and precisely determine the length of the steerer tube that will remain after it is cut.

How to use the device:

If the steerer tube of a new fork is too long, it must be shortened to the required length. The cutting jig allows for precise cutting of tubes with diameters of 1", 1.5", 1.5/8", and 1.5/2". Clamp the fork in the jig, lightly tighten the mounting screw, and place the assembly in a vise mounted on a workbench. Cut the tube with a saw (UNIOR item 750) inserted into the jig's slot. The jig's gripping element is very precisely made, prevents any burrs on the tube surface and ensures a perpendicular cut.
